I Wish I Were Fab Enough...

... to pull off (and afford) all or any of Gucci's resort wear.  Each year when it comes out -- it reminds me of Grace Kelly (I bet you would have a better picture Allie/ ETA:  Thanks A) or Jackie O in Capri -- both of who(m?) are perfection.

All photos are from Saks or directly from Gucci.  The prices are of course bold insanity so I will not mention them here - except for the Jelly sandals which are in the *only slightly* more affordable range.  The long sleeve full length dress (which is slightly too Morticia Addams for my taste) reminds me of Angelina Jolie who is coincidently going to star in the upcoming movie Gucci.

Beautiful Botanicals - Idea From Eddie Ross

In the ongoing and tedious battle (in my mind) about what should go over my bed I think I have a new contender.   I deeply desire these botanical prints from Art That Fits.  In the photo above, I love how Eddie Ross (whose style I am crazy about) framed and used one at the Grange showroom kitchen.

**This print also reminded me that I have to head up to the New York Botanical Garden for their annual Holiday Train Show (starting in Nov.) where all of the iconic New York landmarks are recreated from plant parts, mushrooms, pine cones, and twigs.  It is really amazing.

I think I am going to dress my dogs as twin frogs this Halloween.  In my defense this is the only day of the year I dress them up.  Reindeer ears don't count ... right?  Oh yeah, and the coat.
