Current Obsessions

Supposedly a "Meyer Lemon" tree. Yolanda from RHOBH I am not!

Beautiful Orchids

Still on my stud kick and the perfect summer pink a present from Brittany from
It's Exhausting Being This Juicy (best blog name ever!)

These blow pop minis are AMAZING and the cutest wallet I have seen in a while

HBK - always obsession!  Even if he is a shedding machine!

Calling it a Day on the Terrace

Still waiting on the rest of the chairs for the table - but I am calling it a day!  Now all I need is it to be warm enough to use it!

Things I am Loving!

I bought 3 sets of gorgeous handmade pillows in Mexico

Lovely detail

Not clear what I am going to do with all of them, but they were so inexpensive and lovely
I couldn't stop!

This was the gorgeous store.

A package from QVC was awaiting me upon my return.
I don't know if you can tell how cute that brush is from this picture, but it is amazing.
Thanks to the lovely Pam for the suggestion!

Things are Happening

I will be here on Friday!
We are going to Mexico this weekend to celebrate my FIL's 75th Birthday!

I picked this table runner up on the cheap last time I was there.
I can't wait to use it.

I posted this on instagram.
My couch finally arrived (I had a different couch and it didn't fit up our elevator).
Something I can't put my finger on is a little off (maybe the pillows) - but I am working on it.

And happily the outdoor couch can stay outdoors now.

Here is my carry on. Precious shoes take up half the space.
It's not a great picture of the bag, but I picked it up at the
store at Sunset Beach last summer and it is so sturdy, but light.

More Travel (Sorry): Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah and Qatar

Sunrise flying over Baghdad

We actually ended up veering a little west of Iran (happily for me).

Banyan Tree Al Wadi

At night this place was stunning

Your welcome gift comes in a block of ice - did I mention it was 110 degrees (and humid) every day....

Camel POV

We went falconing - it was amazing.

Our "tent"

Long Island's proudest export *hangs head in shame*

I hated the Burj Al Arab.  Too over the top.

Who doesn't need a sweeping staircase in their suite? Answer: this girl.

This was in your room.  I don't get it.

Apparently Russian tourists are not so compliant with the whole modesty thing.

Kind of a Vegas vibe with the water show.

The Armani Hotel was much more my speed (and 1/3 the price)

Their signature restaurant is drop dead gorgeous and really delicious.

The mall has everything, including an aquarium...

... and a Strarbucks!

We went to a hotel for our layover in Qatar.

It was strangely undeveloped. But over the top wealthy.
